Dos Playa: Safety, Parking & FAQs

Dos Playa is a pair of wild coves enclosed by limestone walls in Arikok National Park. It delivers one of Aruba's most dramatic coastal landscapes and is a destination for scenery rather than casual swimming.

Use this guide to plan your visit, then follow current signs, weather conditions and local instructions on the day. This is planning guidance, not a live sea-condition report.

Beach safety

Treat both coves as sightseeing beaches, not recreational swimming areas. Rough surf and strong undertow are documented. Stay back from wave reach and cliffs, protect turtle nests, and do not drive or barbecue on the sand.

Do not assume lifeguards are present. Check for current warnings, swim with a buddy where swimming is appropriate, and keep young children within arm’s reach. If conditions are uncertain, stay out of the water.

Parking & access

Ask Arikok staff about the current permitted vehicle approach and stopping point. Road conditions can change; a beach map pin is not a parking instruction. Parking capacity and charges are not verified.

Lock the vehicle, keep valuables out of sight, and leave emergency access, driveways, dunes and beach vegetation clear. A beach map pin marks the destination, not necessarily an authorised parking entrance.
