Andicuri Beach: Safety, Parking & FAQs

Andicuri sits between high rock walls on Aruba's exposed east coast. Powerful waves and a sense of isolation make it popular with experienced bodyboarders and visitors seeking wild scenery.

Use this guide to plan your visit, then follow current signs, weather conditions and local instructions on the day. This is planning guidance, not a live sea-condition report.

Beach safety

This windward cove has powerful surf and currents. Enjoy it from shore; seeing experienced bodyboarders is not evidence that swimming is safe. Keep away from unstable cliff edges and breaking waves.

Do not assume lifeguards are present. Check for current warnings, swim with a buddy where swimming is appropriate, and keep young children within arm’s reach. If conditions are uncertain, stay out of the water.

Parking & access

VisitAruba describes parking at the Natural Bridge area and walking to Andicuri for visitors in regular cars. Confirm current permission, signs and route conditions; this is not a guarantee of parking or a drive-to-the-sand route.

Lock the vehicle, keep valuables out of sight, and leave emergency access, driveways, dunes and beach vegetation clear. A beach map pin marks the destination, not necessarily an authorised parking entrance.

Remote east-coast access; 4×4 travel or a prepared walk may be required

What should I bring and plan before visiting?
