Arashi Beach: Safety, Parking & FAQs

Arashi is a broad, easygoing beach near Aruba's northwestern tip. Clear water, a sandy entry and nearby reef life make it a favourite for snorkelling, while the open western view is excellent at sunset.

Use this guide to plan your visit, then follow current signs, weather conditions and local instructions on the day. This is planning guidance, not a live sea-condition report.

Beach safety

Swimming and shore snorkelling can be enjoyable in settled conditions. Check waves and visibility before entering, avoid rocky sections if the entry is difficult, and snorkel with a buddy.

Do not assume lifeguards are present. Check for current warnings, swim with a buddy where swimming is appropriate, and keep young children within arm’s reach. If conditions are uncertain, stay out of the water.

Parking & access

A parking area close to the beach is confirmed by the Aruba Tourism Authority. Spaces and shade can fill; check signs on arrival. Current parking charges and accessibility arrangements have not been verified.

Lock the vehicle, keep valuables out of sight, and leave emergency access, driveways, dunes and beach vegetation clear. A beach map pin marks the destination, not necessarily an authorised parking entrance.

Arashi Beach FAQs

Is Arashi a good alternative to a resort beach?

Yes, if you prefer a smaller beach near the northwestern tip with shore snorkelling and a quieter setting. Shade huts and rentals are listed, but availability is not guaranteed.

How do I access Arashi Beach?

Public beach; paved-road access and parking nearby

What should I bring and plan before visiting?

Bring drinking water, sun protection and a towel. Check the shoreline before unpacking and do not rely on a vacant shade hut or rental equipment being available.
