Flamingo Beach: Safety, Parking & FAQs

Flamingo Beach is the well-known adults-oriented shore on Renaissance Island. Access is controlled by the resort and can depend on guest status or limited day-pass availability.

Use this guide to plan your visit, then follow current signs, weather conditions and local instructions on the day. This is planning guidance, not a live sea-condition report.

Beach safety

Follow resort swim-zone rules and wildlife boundaries. Do not chase, touch or crowd flamingos for photos. Confirm the current age policy for Flamingo Beach and any child visiting arrangements directly with the resort.

Do not assume lifeguards are present. Check for current warnings, swim with a buddy where swimming is appropriate, and keep young children within arm’s reach. If conditions are uncertain, stay out of the water.

Parking & access

There is no drive-up beach parking on Renaissance Island. Confirm mainland parking and the water-taxi boarding point with the resort; parking alone does not grant island admission.

Lock the vehicle, keep valuables out of sight, and leave emergency access, driveways, dunes and beach vegetation clear. A beach map pin marks the destination, not necessarily an authorised parking entrance.
